Jacob was extremely proud of himself when I went into his room to get him after his never-went-to-sleep naptime this afternoon, and found him standing up in his crib for the first time! If you look closely at the picture, you can even see the area of his crib rail that he was using to sharpen his teeth.

Wood is a good starting point for a budding vegetarian or vegan. Evidently you are not feeding him enough good stuff and he has to go foraging on his own.
