Jacob and Josh had a fantastic time with Grandma Sheila and Grandpa Chuck, and sucked up as much attention from them as they possibly could. In addition to our field trips to various museums in the area (SF Academy of Science, Palo Alto Junior Museum and Zoo, San Jose Children's Discovery Museum), we spent time splashing around at the Menlo Park Pool, hob nobbing at the Stanford Shopping Center, checking out the Rodin Sculpture Garden at Stanford (we never actually made it inside the museum to see anything beyond the sculptures), playing (and relaxing) at home, and taking walks in the neighborhood.
An attempt at a family picture (thanks for the effort, Lucy!)

Backyard painting extravaganza (thanks for organizing, Kevin!)
And here's a short video of Josh when we stopped for lunch on the way back home after the trip... He saw a piece of sweet potato on his foot, and didn't want to miss out. I quickly got out my phone and was able to capture the aftermath. Oy!
Here's a short clip of Jake & Josh looking out the window together this morning... [sorry about the backlighting... I thought the video was cute enough to post anyway :) ]
