Our East Coast trip Aug/Sept 2008

Over our 3 1/2 week trip to the East Coast Jacob and Josh had lots of great time with their cousins, aunts, uncles and grandparents. Here are a few shots of them in action...

At the De Young

Today Jake, Josh and I went up to San Francisco to meet Aunt Judi at the De Young Museum. While Joshua snoozed away, Jake had a great time playing with these outdoor apple sculptures. He ran from apple to apple, giggling and splashing the puddle of water left in the top of each apple by last night's rain. Occasionally, he splashed water all over his face--which surprised and delighted him! [Sorry about the color/video quality--it's from my phone, and the lighting was not great due to the fog...]

Josh has been smiling more and more these days, and has just started to show an interest in toys and the world immediately around him. Here are a few shots from our day today--in the car seat getting ready to go on an exciting errand; playing the maracas; and smiling on the changing table (ahhh, to be fresh and clean!) It's hard to imagine now, but before I know it he's going to be running around with big brother Jake wreaking havoc and general mayhem...
